*Notes:
A. All pipe and fittings to be supplied by others. Pipe to be Schedule 80 seamless carbon steel, ASTM A-106, Grade B, Type S, black finish. All
pipefittings to be 3000 pound CWP forged carbon steel, ASTM A-105, ANSI B16.11.
B. Use teflon tape or litharge and glycerin on all pipe joints per Chlorine Institute Pamphlet #6.
C. Vent line must be located where gas discharge can be tolerated (generally outdoors).
D. A union at the vent is recommended to facilitate cleaning the relief valve when replacing the rupture disc.
E. If moisture in the conduit line is a potential problem, it is recommended that a potting Y connection be placed between the pressure switch
and the conduit. This will eliminate drainage from the electrical conduit into the pressure switch housing.
